2018 TxSWANA Road-E-O
The TxSWANA Road-E-O is a highly anticipated annual competition for top truck driving, equipment operating, and mechanic honors between representatives of solid waste management organizations, private and public waste sector companies, and other organizations.
Winners of city SWANA Road-E-Os all over Texas meet at the State competition to go head-to-head and settle one question:
Friday June 8, 2018 (times are subject to change)

If you register online, you will be required to fill out the liability waiver at the event prior to competing.
Registration is open online (link at top and bottom of the page) and using the paper forms, available for download at the bottom of this page.
New this year! ONE GUEST INCLUDED in each competitor's entry fee. Children under 6 are free.
You must provide your guest's name when registering to be guaranteed meals and transportation. Additional guest tickets may be purchased for adults ($40) and Children ($20).
Judges may register online or via the paper form. The judge's fee is $40.

Results and scoring will be posted as soon as practical following the completion of the event.
The following qualifications and statements are established by SWANA National:
In order to compete in the Chapter Road-E-O, participants must meet the following general qualifications:
1. Competitor Status:
Competitors must be employed in the solid waste management field in which they are competing at the time of the Road-E-O, and must have worked in the solid waste management field for a minimum of one year. Potential competitors that are not employed in the solid waste management field (i.e. landfill construction contractor employees) are not eligible to participate in the SWANA event. In addition, the competitors must be a member or work for a public or private sector entity who has at least one member of SWANA in good standing.
2. Safety Record:
Competitors must have had no chargeable accidents, moving or traffic violations within one year prior to the Chapter Road-E-O. In the event a chapter first or second place winner experiences a chargeable accident or receives a moving or traffic violations citation between the chapter event and the International Road-E-O, that competitor will be eligible for the International Road-E-O. However, they will not be eligible for their chapter’s next Road-E-O. Eligibility should only be affected once per chargeable accident, moving or traffic violations.
3. Work Attendance:
Competitors must have a satisfactory work attendance record.
